The La Serra Restaurant in Positano reflects how the Capilongo family is always in search of excellence in their hospitality. You’ll feel the warm welcome as soon as you walk in the door of our elegant hotel, where details mean everything.
Our service is impeccable and the kitchen is managed by our wonderful chef Luigi Tramontano, recipient of a 2023 Michelin Star.
Due to the many requests, to support our hotel guests, it is advisable to reserve in advance.
In order to confirm the reservations, a credit card number is required as guarantee. In case of late cancellation, after 72 hours prior to the reservation, or in case of no show, the amount of Euro 80,00 per person will be charged.
In case of late arrival, more than 15 minutes, the reserved table may not be guaranteed. It may be necessary to wait for the next availability.
The cancellation must be done within 72 hours prior to the reservation through email.
Gourmet Cuisine
The gourmet dinner suggestions by our star chef will surprise you with their skillful blending of updated traditional recipes and locally-sourced fish, meat, and vegetables. The parmigiana from our garden becomes aubergine absolute, the tuna ventresca is entailed in the encounter with the oyster and the roast sauce. Fish rules the menu but you’ll find plenty of meat options to suit your appetite.

Breakfast & Lunch
Breakfast is served in the main room of the La Serra Restaurant: a diverse buffet with sweet and savory options, and homemade tarts.
During the day we suggest a light lunch of unmistakable flavors in delicious dishes, always based on the best ingredients. We never let our guard down on excellence in the kitchen and the quality of raw materials.
From farm to table
We have our own garden where we grow our own herbs as well as many of the vegetables we serve fresh in the restaurant. To guarantee you the freshest ingredients.
We take special care of our citrus trees, to ensure you get the most of that unmistakable perfume of the Amalfi Coast with each morsel of our scialatielli agli agrumi. Each bite contains the essence of Positano.
Excellence in a glass
To make our offering especially attractive, the cellar of the La Serra Restaurant is filled with a rich variety of wines from Italy and abroad, with a special space reserved for sparkling wines, as well as organic and natural wines.
Our master sommelier Nicoletta Gargiulo will dazzle your tastebuds with ideal pairings with all types of flavors.

Information and timetables
The La Serra restaurant serves a buffet breakfast every morning from 7 am to 11 am.
Chef Tramontano offers his light lunch every day from 1 pm to 3 pm.
You can have dinner at La Serra from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 7:30 pm to 11 pm.
The restaurant welcomes non-residents for lunch and dinner.
Room service with a special menu for our guests is available 24 hours a day.
